All tests possible again despite Corona
The Testing Institute Locks and Hardware Velbert [Prüfinstitut Schlösser und Beschläge Velbert (PIV)] now again offers all tests and certifications in full, including the first visit to the production plant. In compliance with the Corona protection regulations, customer traffic with a maximum of two persons is again permitted in the PIV and appointments at the customer's production plant are again possible. Among other things, burglar resistance testing and the testing of windows, doors and facades can be carried out at the customer's production plant or in the PIV. For this purpose the PIV provides a corona questionnaire to the customer, which has to be filled in before the visit in the PIV.
The official recommendations and instructions are of course strictly observed. Thus, all employees and auditors work according to the required minimum distance or with mouth and nose protection. The testing institute is equipped with disinfectants, mouth-and-nose protection and gloves and all employees and auditors have been instructed on how to comply with the recommended protective measures.
