Further reinforcement at PIV
The PIV has welcomed another employee. Jamal Boumouchoun (52) has been working as an auditor in the certification body of the Prüfinstitut Schlösser und Beschläge Velbert since the beginning of April. Following his induction, he will carry out independent inspections in Germany and abroad for certified customers of construction products (locks, fittings, windows, doors, gates) in accordance with the relevant standard requirements, the Construction Products Ordinance and the voluntary “PIV CERT” certification programs. He will also support the institute director Andrea Horsthemke in QM matters.
Boumouchoun is a quality officer, quality manager and quality auditor in accordance with ISO 9001 and therefore has knowledge of quality management systems and operational test planning and implementation. In his last position, he worked as a test technician and was responsible for the design, evaluation and documentation of prototypes requiring monitoring as well as newly developed prototypes. He is no stranger to conducting internal and external audits.
Prior to this, he was employed as QMB and Quality Manager and was responsible for all certifications, internal audits and managing the QA team. He started his career at Ford, where he worked for 27 years. There he first trained as an industrial mechanic and later completed his industrial master craftsman's certificate.
The entire team at Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge and the PIV are looking forward to working with Jamal Boumouchoun.
